The best part of the film, for me, is neither the strong sexuality nor the gold and diamond snake design (although they are the indiscerptible part of the film and they are undeniably subtle)
rather, the end of the story, the tagline below:
"When you're on the road......your little girl will always be with you."
When you understand both English and French, this film is pleasingly tailored for you.
"Quand vous êtres sur la route......votre petite fille sera toujours près de vous."
This necklace changed future.
In the end, the story reminds you of the beginning, a TV show. It asks, “If you could see the future in a crystal ball......or in the palm of your hand, or in a dream......would you change it?”
The story is then perfect.
Laure (Rebecca) was given a second chance, but it's not a right future; when she woke up from her dream, she didn't take the chance people would mostly take, simply because this wonderful life wouldn't belong to her and this choice made all the difference.
Rebecca's skill is amazing. A woman can have so many different faces in one film:

The future can only be handled in Gods eyes. If we could see our future we would mess everything up. I have experienced many difficult things that have helped shape me, and also many wonderful. I could not have planned it any better.
I understand and agree on your point. Just want to add something. As for the movie, director wanted to entertain you at the same time leave you something to think make the movie unforgettable in some way.
What I want to add is what is future? 1 year later? 10 years later? or till the end? Before that it's a whole life, whole future and it has ups and downs. Today you are happy; tomorrow you are sad. This year you have great achievement; next year you suddenly have a lot of competitors. As you said, many difficult things helped shape you and also many wonderful. They are a few stops towards your future. Whether you "change" them or not they are just some stops. They may be handled in Gods eyes, may be in your eyes; maybe how we "mess" them up is also handled in Gods eyes. But it's not important to verify if it's handled in Gods eyes or your eyes. They are our stops our experiences and we are happy to direct them to our direction whatever stops we encounter on the way.
I believe that a few people were able to "see" their future (what may happen a few years later) in their dreams or in their random thoughts however mostly didn't pay attention. Because all were some tiny detail and when some tiny detail happen in the future, some may remind of what was in the dreams or in the thoughts.
So future is only in your past dreams. "Coincidence" or "fate" whatever we call it, as Laure said "I needed a passport yesterday ..."
